Event Series: Nature Walk

Nature Walk: Native American Plant Uses | Registration Required

August 16 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am
Free

Schweiger Ranch has teamed up with South Suburban Parks & Recreation District to provide free, guided walking tours led by professional naturalists from SSPRD. These tours offer insight and education into the natural environment on and around Schweiger Ranch, while offering a chance to get some fresh air and exercise. Join us for a leisurely walk as we find some of the same plant species used for food, construction, or medicine by tribes in this region many years ago.

This event is held outside and may be modified or canceled due to inclement weather or poor walking conditions.
