Nature Walk: Natural Heritage of Native Americans | Registration Required

July 18 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am

Free

Schweiger Ranch has teamed up with South Suburban Parks & Recreation District to provide free, guided walking tours led by professional naturalists from SSPRD. These tours offer insight and education into the natural environment on and around Schweiger Ranch, while offering a chance to get some fresh air and exercise.

Come for a walk and learn various land stewardship techniques of the Ute, Cheyenne, and Arapahoe tribal communities whose ancestral homelands are throughout the front range.  Reflecting on these indigenous practices can provoke meaningful conversations on how we can be better stewards ourselves.  Be sure to bring water, snacks, a journal and something to write with.

Registration opens May 1st
