These tours offer insight and education into the natural environment on and around Schweiger Ranch\, while offering a chance to get some fresh air and exercise. \nStep into the shoes (or paws\, claws\, and hooves) of Colorado’s ecosystem’s most fascinating inhabitants in this thrilling nature-inspired mystery game!  Participants will each take on the role of an animal in our local environment and work together to solve a perplexing ecological mystery. With guidance from our expert naturalists—your key “nature detectives”—you’ll uncover clues\, analyze relationships between plants\, animals\, and their environment\, and piece together the story of a disturbance in the ecosystem. \nThis event is held outside and will be modified or canceled due to inclement weather or poor walking conditions. \n  \n  \nRegistration Closed

DESCRIPTION:The City of Lone Tree’s Craftoberfest returns to Schweiger Ranch on Saturday\, October 4th.  Lone Tree is bringing Coloradan’s love of craft beer and everyone’s favorite annual beer celebration together to prost the season of hardier beers! \nSample from Colorado breweries fall line-up of beers along with some of their tried and true favorites.  Enjoy live music and nosh on some German cuisine or American favorites from the food trucks. \nThrow a game of bags\, compete in the stein hoisting competition\, or do a little polka. There is a little something for everyone to enjoy at this event. \nYou must be 21 years of age to purchase the beer sampling ticket. DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the annual display of holiday lights on the historic Austrian homestead from the warmth and comfort of your car from the parking lot\, and along Havana Street. \nPlease note the Ranch complex will be closed and entrance within the gates is not permitted.\nIf you’re up for a winter evening walk\, get a closer view by using the East West Trail. \nSchweiger Ranch participates in the Colorado tradition of displaying holiday lights through the end of the National Western Stock Show.  Enjoy the lights beginning the evening of November 27th through January 25th.
